A major crack currently crosses the main road in the ice fishing village of Grande-Baie.
The ice thickness near the crack is only 3 inches.
This situation beyond our control prevents snow removal operations in this village, and will therefore delay boarding at Grande-Baie. Note that according to the last ice measurements of Friday January 22, the village now has an average thickness of 12 inches.
Our team will do everything in their power to speed up the repair of this crack by manually removing snow every day. A verification will be carried out at the beginning of the week.
We hope the crack will "heal" quickly!
