Eleven students from the preparatory work training at the Jonquiere High School had the chance to live a day at the Rivière-à-Mars on Wednesday, June 5th.
With the contribution of Contact Nature and the Local Promotion Program of the Quebec Federation for Atlantic Salmon, these young people released salmon fry in the river were introduced to fly fishing.
In addition, each of them received a free fishing rod with reel, eye protection and a fly box.
It is a pleasure for us to see more and more projects of this kind taking place at Contact Nature!
